One of the books I read this year is “L’energia che sei” by Franco Bertoli, national team captain, one of the most successful volleyball coaches ever, and mental coach.
I randomly met Franco at a leadership event and I always enjoy reading books written by the people I meet, so I bought his.
What I didn’t expect was to find this gem by John Lennon that I didn’t know. The vision of an artistic genius always enriches me with a point of view I hadn’t considered.
In the same book, there is another nugget that stuck with me, this one from the author himself:
“They say the world belongs to those who wake up early. The truth is, the world belongs to those who wake up happy.”
Which, for someone like me who really doesn’t want to know anything about waking up early, is an interesting twist…
